# Text messages

Text messages can contain any characters and symbols, and restrictions connected with the message length:

* Moderators’ messages can contain 1000 symbols.
* Regular users’ messages have to be 500 characters.

If your users tend to communicate in different languages, you can activate a tool that allows them to feel comfortable in a multilingual chat. If the feature is turned on, users can choose the language for autotranslation.

**Users can edit or delete their messages.** If a user edits a message, it's marked 'edited.' All changes are visible on the admin panel, and the admin panel moderators can follow all changes made to a message.

Moderators can edit the messages they send through a chat interface or admin panel.

**Users can** also **reply** to each other messages. When someone replies to the user's message, this user gets an in-chat notification about the number of replies.
